Business Case Studies and Their Relevance to Management Education

Many B-schools outside India have adopted the case study methodology for teaching
almost in all branches of management studies. This trend has been seen in India also,
many premier B schools have implemented case study–based methodology as an
important pedagogical tool in management education. However there is a severe

industry exposure. A Computer Engineer Dr. Sandeep Pachpande is Harvard Business School alumni; done executive programs from Kellogg, Babson, and is Gold Medalist in MBA
from Leeds Metropolitan University, UK. He is a Ph.D. guide, and has authored many books in higher education in business management studies. Prof J.A Kulkarni (Author 2) Prof. J. A. Kulkarni brings along with him 40 years of industry experience at senior
levels including Tata Motors, M&M Ltd., and Bajaj Auto ltd. He is a University Gold
Medalist for his BE Mech undergone post-graduate education in management from
Germany
Prof.Kulkarni during his tenure with ASM Group of Institutes, specializes in teaching the
