Shashi kothari born in Rajasthan but brought up in Andhra Pradesh is a graduate in economics with diploma in painting, dress designing, batik, journalism, German language.
Reading, contemplating, meditating and watching nature are her major timepass.
She has published four books in Hindi, Jab nadiya bahna bhool gayi ( poems on soul quest ), Bah gaya main, rah gaya main ( poems on joyous living ), Dhadak raha saagar boond mei ( four liners on love and devotion) and this fourth book.
She has also translated into English six Hindi books of Acharya Ratna sunder Suri ( recipient of Padma Vibhushan and Raj pratibodhak award ) and writer of more than 300 books.
